The "Chain pots" paper chain of 264 cells are origami-folded "garlands" for sowing market garden crops in cells.
Once the paper chain has been filled with potting soil in its plastic planting tray, it is ready to be planted once the seedling has developed. Using the transplanter, the paper chain is unrolled, enabling the crops to be transplanted into the soil.
