While the delivery distance does impact the CO₂ footprint, we operate responsibly within Madeira's unique logistics. Our island imports most of what it consumes with limited exports, allowing us to utilize empty return cargo space on shipping vessels and planes. Additionally, our nursery is not energy-intensive—our subtropical climate naturally provides ideal growing conditions, making Madeira itself almost a nursery by design.
